Brent Blackwell was born in England and joined American Airlines in 1987 as a pilot. He became Chief Pilot International Operations in 1996.
Brent was reassigned to Manager Strategic Ops and Plans in 2000 and moved to the System Ops and Control (SOC) managing fleet and ATC modernization Programs.
From the Fall of 2002 to present, assigned as Director System Operations Engineering responsible for fleet modernization, ATC, and engineering support to airline operations. Thrilled to work with a fabulous group of intelligent, highly motivated Aero Engineers, Operations Analysts, and ATC Managers who are involved in making major changes in the way we do our business
